Playing with the music and basic combinations.
No dance experience or partner required.
Shoes with leather or suede soles or thick socks required to permit slight gliding motion.
No rubber soles. Heels recommended for ladies but not required.
Casual, comfortable attire.
Weekly Friday night group class 7:30-9:00 PM.
You may drop-in to any or all classes- this is not a series.
1-2 Saturdays per month we have a tango practica from 8:00-10:30 PM.
No instruction- practice what you want to refine.
Everyone helps everyone in this fun, communal learning environment.
You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks to the Saturday practice.
Sunday Tango Fundamentals
This 4-8 series repeats every few weeks.
Focusing on Tango Fundamentals like:
Walking and turning;
Connection, leading and following;
Rhythm and musicality.
Learn to relax mind and body and have fun on the dance floor.
Sign up with a partner or alone. We switch partners during the class and make sure that everyone gets plenty of dance time.
Private and semi-private (small group) lessons available
People with disorders of balance an gait , such as Parkinsonism, may benefit from tango
